Brewhouse & Kitchen – Equity & Debt Growth Capital
Brewhouse and Kitchen is now the UK’s largest brewpub brand and an award-wining leading name in the growth of craft beer. Each pub boasts its own micro-brewery, run and overseen by its own dedicated masterbrewer, producing a range of cask and keg beers together with a complementary fresh food offering.
The philosophy of Brewhouse & Kitchen is to involve the customer, whether tasting different brews and ingredients at the tasting table, enjoying the ambience of ale and food from the “matched” menu or the spectacle of the brewery in front of their eyes. The concept provides a variety of experiences including team-building and brewing experiences where the guests sample and chose their ingredients, actually mix the brew, see the ‘copper’ boiled and about a week later revisit the pub to enjoy the fruits of their labours, their own in-house beer, over a full English breakfast.
Marechale Capital was first appointed by the company in early 2013 to secure equity & debt franchise funding for what at the time was a new pub concept. Over five years and a further four consecutive rounds, Marechale has advised on and secured EIS equity funding from its HNW and family office network as well as equity from its relationships with international institutions and family office investors.
